The German Shorthaired Pointer has earned the reputation of being the all-purpose dog. It is indeed rare to find a staunchly pointing bird dog: a keen nose, a proven hunter, a natural retriever on both land and water, great endurance, and intelligent, all in one pleasant looking dog. This dog was developed in the 1870's by crossing the Old Spanish Pointer, English Foxhound and German tracking hounds to produce a truly versatile utility dog of all work. Some of its game successes are: pheasant, quail, partridge, woodcock, rabbits, and raccoons.

Info on princess Baille our dam : Baille is just over two years old. She is registered with both AKC, and NAVHDA. Last year was her first full year in the field she did a very nice job for being so young and competing with the older dogs, We where very pleased with her performance. She has some great bloodlines with Shooting Star's sharp shooter (INT,CH/VC),on one side. And Snip's Ticked off (10X NSTRA CHAMPION) on the other.Baille is also a very good family dog and likes to be both inside or out.   

Bruno is a solid liver male w/ some white on his chest and feet. We brought Bruno home in September of 2004 after many months of searching for just the perfect dog. He has been a wonderful addition to our family! He has a very mild disposition which changes of coarse when he is in the field hunting. He very much wants to please his family.

Bruno's father is Chance Vom Riverwoods  out of Keljer Kennels in Illinois . He has titles both in the US and UK . Chance received the his KS title scoring all 4s. Chance earned NAKP1 where Chance was the highest scoring dog in the test.
